Professional Development for School Districts
K–5 Professional Learning
Bilingual Literacy • Dyslexia • Neurodiverse Classrooms
Supporting districts in strengthening Tier 1 instruction for multilingual and neurodiverse learners through integrated professional learning.
Districts are increasingly investing in bilingual education and dyslexia support. However, classroom instruction often remains unchanged between intervention services, limiting the impact of these efforts on student learning.
Professional Learning Pathways
We offer professional learning designed to support K–5 classrooms through four integrated areas:
-
Teachers learn how to structure classroom environments using neuroscience-informed practices, including establishing predictable routines, supporting attention and behavior as part of learning, and creating systems that increase student independence and participation.
-
Educators develop a deeper understanding of how different learning profiles impact attention, language processing, and self-regulation, and learn how to adjust instruction and classroom expectations to support a wider range of learners within general education settings.
-
Teachers explore how literacy develops in bilingual students, how phonological and orthographic skills transfer across languages, and how to design instruction that strengthens biliteracy while avoiding common misinterpretations of reading difficulties.
-
Educators learn how to recognize early indicators of dyslexia in bilingual learners, differentiate between language development and reading difficulties, and implement instructional adjustments that support decoding, fluency, and comprehension within daily classroom instruction.

Our Approach
Strengthen Tier 1 Instruction
We focus on improving classroom instruction so students make progress within daily lessons—not only during intervention sessions.
Integrate, Don’t Isolate
Bilingual literacy, dyslexia, and neurodiversity are addressed together, reflecting how learning actually occurs in the classroom.
Apply Learning to Real Classrooms
Teachers engage with practical strategies they can implement immediately, using real instructional scenarios and student needs.
Build Sustainable Systems
We support schools in creating consistent instructional practices that can be maintained across classrooms and over time.
